Dempster PUMP JACK

Available for electric or gas motor applications

GEAR RATIO & STROKE:   Gear ratio is 16 to 1 with a 6"stroke length. Maximum 40 strokes per minute ( 640 RPM shaft speed )
HELICAL MACHINE-CUT GEARS:   Precision worms and gears follow a spiral design for a smooth drive. Worms and gears operate right and left, balancing the load and reducing wear, and are pinned to the shaft to maintain proper timing.
GEARS RUN IN OIL:   Oil seals on all shafts retain lubricant and shut out dirt and moisture from individual gear enclosures on each end.
CROSSHEAD COUPLING: Fits 7/16" x 1" flatbar, which must have 12" or more above crosshead for clear operation. Jack gearcase can be attached to 3 1/4" OD or slightly larger or smaller barrel by carefully shimming and positioning the U-bolt.
LOAD LIMITS:   The Dempster Pump Jack should not be used with greater than a 1/2 hp electric motor or a 1-1/2 hp gasoline engine.
